Financial Assistance
provided by Dalton Help Foundation

One of the foundation's goals is to provide financial assistance to local families affected by autism. If you feel that your family could benefit from this, please read below for more information.

In April of 2007, the foundation adopted it's first family, The Lopezes. We are now ready to adopt our second family and look forward to doing even more in the future.

Applications are currently being accepted for a 12-month period of assistance,
beginning in June 2008. Deadline for submission is May 1, 2008.

The following qualifications must be met to be eligible for consideration (documentation will be required):

Resident of York County, SC

Diagnoses of Autism

Financial Need

Please complete the form in its entirety. Mail to the address provided with all required documentation. To be eligible, all information must be complete  and received by May 1, 2008. Interviews of candidates may be requested.

The amount of financial assistance provided will be determined by the Board of Directors based on resources available, level of need, and number of applicants. Sponsorship will be announced no later than May 30, 2008. Assistance will begin June 1, 2008 and continue for 12 months, expiring on May 31, 2009. All financial assistance from the foundation will be provided directly to the care or service provider, not the family itself.
